Thai post have now become the worst mail service in the world, i have lost mail i need to find. I have tried every day to contact them on their listed phone numbers but no one will answer the phones and they do not reply to emails. Looks like they are all on facebook having a holiday.
Had many things going missing this year(2020) They are only interested in being everything but a post company these days, they don't worry about their core business. Too many bosses and not enough workers possibly.
Slow service, rude staff who know nothing at offices. They don't answer phones when you have a problem. Items get marked in their system as delivered when they have not been. Lost items all the time with overseas mail.
I think it depends on which office you use as to the quality of service received. I regularly send parcels to Europe and sometimes they arrive within 1 week other occasions 3-4 weeks .why? I don't know.I track the parcels and between Thailand and Europe no updates .transit for much too long. the staff in some offices are very helpful but others ignorant and abrupt ,a general review of customer relations is definitely needed.
If you have any chance to avoid dealing with Koh Phangan Post office (the delivery staff) just do it. They don´t give you a notice in your postbox, tell the sender it´s returning and it´s still there if you ask why. Absolute rude communication and agressive
Unfortunately I have to use Thailand Post on a regular basis as I live here. They often lose mail, refuse to investigate, pass blame to the sender, and are generally horribly unprofessional. If sending within Thailand, better to pay a little more & use Kerry Express.
